Roma women develop local communitiesRoma women develop local communitiesis the first E-Romnja project funded by the Mama Cash Foundation since 2013.

The program designed during the seven years of implementation has targeted three strategic objectives:

organizational development of the association;
→ consolidation of the Mizil initiative group to increase the participation of Roma girls and women in the community and their access to local resources and services;
→ support for advocacy actions on topics such as sex education, reproductive health, combating domestic violence, etc.

Thanks to Mama Cash's feminist funding model, the program currently supports and prioritizes local interests according to Roma girls and women’s voices, bends to local intervention situations with the necessary flexibility for a type of community intervention. The program built the first Roma Women's Office in the community.
